What do you expect of a collaborative network on quinoa?
To obtain information from peer colleagues/experts and technical cooperation related to the cropping, harvesting, processing, value additional and nutritional values of quinoa on sub-Saharan environments, and more specifically on arid and semi-arid lands (ASALs)

What suggestions would you make for the future development of the quinoa network?
1.- Promote technical exchanges and field visits to different areas where quinoa is successfully being grown, promoted and commercialized;
2.- Foster international workshops/congresses on last findings of quinoa, including research papers, lessons learned from other countries and success stories- both from FAO and other national/international organizations linked to quinoa activities.
3.- Promote forums for the quinoa value chain: marketing development, value addition and post-harvest management, and inclusion of international certification labels and standards (i.e. fair trade and organic labeling).
