That the network can bring you
What do you expect of a collaborative network on quinoa? :
In collaborative network I expect to be able to participate in projects that could be of common interest. I also expect that experiments covering themes of common interest can be planned and conducted jointly to broaden knowledge and strengthen quinoa research and development.
What degree of interest do you have in professional networks? :
I have worked on pioneer crops to diversify production systems of the Brazilian Savannahs. Besides quinoa, our project has covered grain amaranth, buckwheat, sesame, tef, kenaf, among other options. These crops which have not been part of commercial agriculture detain scarce technology, generated by few small teams world-wide. Therefore, there is need of creating professional networks.
What suggestions would you make for the future development of the quinoa network? :
I sugest that, though FAO supervidion, information on researchers and developers be organized, such that potential projects be planned, discussed and put forward. I offer my help to participate and contribute to initiate and improve networks.
What communication tools do you expect for a network? :
site web, notes d'information, Co-écriture d'articles
Are you directly responsible for conducting quinoa crop trials in your country? ? :
Oui
